Terminal Mode

Case battles where only the final case determines the winner.

In Terminal mode, only the last case in the battle determines who wins — earlier rounds still play out, but the winner is decided by the final unboxed value.

How it works

  1. All selected cases are opened in order.
  2. Players' totals from earlier cases are shown during the battle.
  3. When the final case resolves, the winner is determined by that last result according to the battle rules shown in the lobby (highest or lowest on the terminal case, as indicated when you join).

When to use it

Terminal mode creates a dramatic finish — every earlier pull builds tension, but the last case decides the outcome.

Tips

  • Read the battle card before joining so you know whether the terminal case uses standard or crazy-style scoring.
  • Fewer cases mean less buildup; more cases mean a longer path to the deciding pull.
